Integrated Baby Seat
Out of the four basic types of baby booster seats listed which one is best for your child? Well that depends on your needs. Here is a quick brake down on the four types with their advantages and disadvantages:
-
High back booster seat: this seat has a high back and can be very comfortable. It woks good in cars with shorter sear backs. This way you get the support for the chills shoulders and head. Also most high back boosters have more features and can cost more.
-
No-back booster: no-back or backless child seats can be less expensive and some children even prefer them. They are more discreet and the child will feel more grown up. Basically this just boosts the child up so you can use the car safety straps properly. Also the cost is usually less than the high back booster.
- Convertible seat: the convertible just allows you to go from a rear facing to a forward facing. This allows you to save some money by not having to buy two seats. Just make sure your child is not to big for it.
- Integrated baby seat: this is a seat that is a forward facing booster built into your car. As long as they are properly installed this can be a good alternative to buying a seat.
Remember if your child is over 40 pounds or greater you should have them in a booster seat. The number one thing to be worried about is safety. Dont buy used baby seats unless you know their history. Once one has been involved in an accident or has not been treaded well they are no good.
